Rainbow Rumble Off-Season Event

I am happy to announce Rainbow Rumble! The FIRST FRC Off-Season event focused on members of the LGBTQIAA+ Community!

When:
August 5th - Set Up and Early Load-In
August 6th - Qualification Matches
August 7th - Finish Qualifications and Playoff Matches

Where:
Mason High School, 1001 S Barnes St, Mason, MI 48854

Who:
Anyone who is a member of the LGBTQIAA+ community or an ally! You don’t need to be a member to compete, but you must be an ally to be there!

32 Robots at $250 per robot!

At least 3 $500 scholarships available (more information on that to come soon)

We still have spaces available for the inaugural Rainbow Rumble! Also, the Rainbow STEM Alliance has offered to sponsor the registration fees for up to 6 LGBTQ+ of FIRST partner teams’ robots who sign up!

4926 is officially coming! It will be a shoestring operation, but we’ll be there! Won’t be bringing our robot cart, can someone describe the pit-to-field journey?

From my quick run down at the venue a couple weeks ago, it will likely be pits in the hallways surrounding the gym where we will be competing. So not far. We can always make accommodations as needed.
