Although we are sold out we still have an empty pre-rookie spot which includes a 341 2009 twin machine and we are still taking veteran teams on our waiting list.

Last year, 4 wait-listed teams found spots at Ramp Riot by early October! So feel free to continue registering.

Team 816 is happy to be going this year since the schedule for us is clear this year around the dates. It will also be one extra competition for us to train our new rookies and new mentors before the actual season

Itā€™s too bad Dustin graduated - he was one of the best drivers in 2009. Hereā€™s hoping heā€™s taught his understudies well.

If anyoneā€™s coming from the New York area and has room for one happy FIRSTer in a vehicle (I can pay for gas and my own lodging), Iā€™d be glad to come and volunteer at this event, meet the local northeast teams, and see some old friends again. Drop me a PM if you can help me out. :smiley:

Iā€™ll be at RPI this fall (Troyā€™s right by Albany if I have my New York geography right, still new at this stuff), so that should work out rather nicely if you guys have a seat. Thanks a lot for the offer!

Ramp Riot was my first FIRST i will remember the spirit to this day and i have been hocked ever since. Unfortunately team 75 could not make it to Ramp Riot the last two years. But we are back and i am so happy that my last match driving on the regolith, and my last time driving in an off-season competition will be at Ramp Riot. The team list looks amazing, it will be a great time.

We are very excited that Rolling Thunder is coming to RR 2009! Your team was really fun when you came to the Philly regional and I know youā€™ll pump up the energy level at Ramp Riot.

Opening Video Help:
Each year we produce an opening video to honor our participating teams. Please send your team pictures of your students, robots, important team moments from '09, etc. to:

Also, if you have video files, we can try our best to include them too. Please either send a download link to rampriot@team341.com or mail us a DVD (mail them to: Alan Ostrow, Wissahickon HS, 521 Houston Road, Ambler, PA 19002). Videos must be a minimum of SD video quality at 720px wide. Preferred formats include: .mov, .mp2, .mp4, .avi. (Unacceptable formats include: .wmv)

We want to include everyone in the opening video and truly honor the attending teams! Please be sure to send us your stuff!

We would love to have all of your media by Oct. 16th so act now!
