me and my team are looking into using the raptor track drive chassis this year is it allowed in the rule book because I cant find anything about not legal chassis

As long as the drivetrain does not damage the carpet and is powered with legal motors, I imagine it should be legal. There are no unwritten rules; if nothing says you can’t, you can!
There are lots of legal drivetrains in FRC, and the raptor track drive is one of them.
I am curious though…what advantage do you see in this game that makes a raptor drive seem appealing?

Great to see the question asked! Keep in mind if something comes into question at inspection time, it’ll just be you and the inspectors there, no one from CD.
While it’s good to double check things, if you’re looking to make a key design decision, I’d definitely recommend making sure you are confident a choice is legal through a thorough search of the game manual. If you can’t find anything, you can lean on this:

Our team is also looking at utilizing the Raptor chassis. They’re looking at it for the potential of defense and balancing the charging station.
