We’re looking to establish a chapter of the Robot Chicks Union in southeast Michigan that would present at workshops at off-season events and kickoffs this year, if at all possible. We have to start somewhere though… which is the purpose of this thread. If you have an interest in joining and perchance have other ideas for this year, please post, it’d be greatly appreciated.

Lisa, I would be more than happy to work this with you. I can take care of whatever you need. Michigan girls, this is going to be a lot of fun for you. You’ll really want to get involved.
I’d love to participate in this and help out in any way I can. I just joined the RCU group at yahoo, and I’ll log onto the chat on the 15th. I’ll also let the other girls on my team know about this.

Pretty much for now I’m working on getting interest and on compiling the contact list. If you could possibly give me the names of the potential RCU members from your team, that’d be great. Thanks 
it’s great you guys want to start up another chapter and have great enuthasium for this project. a contact list yes is one of the main issues to deal with. please be patient though.
it’s great to have more chapter but the Union really needs to set some guidelines regarding new chapters. please though do build up that list and in the coming months hopefully we can truly establish you guys as a new chapter. creation of a chapter is a lot of hard work. so far the New Hampshire Chapter has done a lot because of the Union based in New Hampshire and the support given there.

Hey I am from Walled Lake Northern Highschool. Going into my 4th year helping in robotics, 3rd year on a team. I do OCCRA and FIRST. I’ll do anything in/for robotics. if ya need anything contact me at [email protected]. I think it is a great idea, especially with the OCCRA all girls Competition
