Hello Everyone,
We’ve been trying to reconfigure the OMP-5AC radio to home use mode. It’s currently still in competition mode. When we try to use the FRC Radio Configuration Utility to configure it in home use mode the utility gives an error saying to check the connection to the radio and plug it in if necessary (it’s plugged in).
Any help is appreciated.

Are you waiting for the power light to stop flashing and remain solid for 30 seconds?
Are you sure you have the ethernet cable plugged into the correct port? I don’t remember which one it is off the top of my head, but the directions should specify which port to plug the ethernet cable into. The configuration may not work if it is plugged into the wrong port.
Thanks for the help, I’ll pass this along (I wasn’t the one trying to configure the radio). I’ll let you know if it works.
If it doesn’t I’ll make sure I watch the attempt so I can tell you exactly what happened.
Make sure you grab the latest version on TeamForge and aren’t using the 2016 one as the AC radios need a new utility for 2017. Also if issues persist try another computer, the ethernet controller library used by the utility can be picky at times.
