That looks pretty cool to me. The only flaw i see with it is sooner or later they’re going start wanting to make fully operational robots (i.e. Terminators). Just kidding.
Put some armor on him and give him a flamethrower, and you have a Firebat 
Give him some armor and you essentially have a spartan right there. (of course make the helmet cooler)
