I used this radio for frc event, and now im back to the home and try to reconfiguring without bridge mode but, when when i open the utility for reconfigure, the utility didnt find any interface, i`m using windows 7 and FRC_Radio_Configuration_17_3.
This usually works for us, load the program on a desktop, and use the desktop to program the radio. It has been our experience, that the program has better success rate the fewer network interfaces you have, and desktops usually have only one wired connection.
Baring that, you can start by disabling all other networks except for the one wired adapter, but we have found this is a hassle with mixed results.
You should be disabling wifi on your driver station laptop for competition anyway. Leaving it on opens you up to the FMS not connecting and lag in communications. It shouldn’t be too hard to run the program on the driver station laptop before you re-enable wifi if you don’t have a desktop you can use.
Seconding what Scott said. FWIW, we haven’t been able to reconfigure our Radio after the last couple competitions, but flashing the firmware and then configuring has worked every time…no clue why, but you might try that (just follow the on-screen instructions ).
