I know that a live webcast is provided for IRI, but has the event been recorded and posted afterwards online anywhere for the past few years? That last real multi-match recordings I was able to find on YouTube were from 2003. Unless I’m looking in the wrong place, I can’t find any recent full recordings of IRI. I’m sure others besides for just me would love to watch (or rewatch ) the best-of-the-best after the event is over.
As some of you might know, our team (1676) has recorded and posted videos of events for many seasons now, and if allowed would love to record and post full-field videos of IRI as well. However, we are bringing an extremely small skeleton crew out this year (just our drivers and Co-CEOs), so might need some volunteers to just sit with the camera for a few matches. We would be able to provide all of the needed equipment though.
Please let me know if I am in fact wrong and there are actual full recordings posted somewhere that I couldn’t find, and if not, if teams attending would be able to spare any volunteers to record with our camera for a few matches. Thanks in advance.
I just looked at the Enginerds YouTube channel, and we do somewhat the same style. We wouldn’t be using a fisheye, but it would be full-field with an HD camera. What we’d be doing would be exactly the same with what we did at MidKnight Mayhem last month.
We will have a multi-camera setup, showing the event live and also recording for later viewing.
We did a similar set-up for the Indiana Championship through a special You-Tube channel, but many of the videos were pulled because of the music and copyrights. We have that solved for IRI.
EngiNERDs will be bringing our equipment and would be more then Happy to stream and archive our “style” of view.
But it will be up to the Event Coordinators to determine if they want us to do this for the community.
Also, I would be more then happy to show people our equipment and explain how we set things up, while we are at IRI. Feel free to find me in the pits. I am typically by the robot.
