Recycled Material Robot Design Challenge

Looking for something to pass the time while waiting for Championships to start? Do you have a lot of old scraps around? Built another robot! The museum I work for, Discovery World, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has a makerspace/fablab type area called the Kohl’s Design It! Lab which features monthly design challenges. In support of National Robotics Week, this month’s design challenge is to create a robot from recycled and found materials. The robot doesn’t need to function. Upload a picture of your robot to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter by April 25th and use #DWDesignChallenge and your design could be featured on the Discovery World social media sites. https://www.facebook.com/DiscoveryWorldMKE/ https://twitter.com/discoveryworld?lang=en https://www.instagram.com/discoveryworldmke/

Discovery World is awesome! Our family was there a couple years ago, for the wedding of some mutual friends. Milwaukee has quite a few treasures in it, and DW is near the top of the list. (I could have spent a week in the Les Paul exhibit)
