Was watching this match here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss84Ascdik0
Any idea what the referee calls were for at 0:30 & 0:47
The call at 30 sec is for 1690 controlling 6 game pieces during auto, and the call at 47 is for a human player storing power cells not on the provided rack.
They missed shooting four in auto by 6230 (sneaky) F1 unless my scout eyes deceive me
Yeah, I don’t know if it was finals 1 but i remember seeing a match where a team started with 4. The funny thing about that one is I don’t actually think there is a penalty associated with it. So once the match starts, I don’t think there is much the refs can do about it.
Also, when orbit controls 6 game pieces, the ref assigns a tech foul, but it should have been a common foul.
(Starting Config) Violation: If fix is a quick remedy, the MATCH won’t start until all requirements are met. If it is not a quick remedy the offending ROBOT will be DISABLED
I would think “Disable” is on the table as that is quite the disadvantage scoring extra in auto and not “correcting it” with a quick remedy. Teams should be aware of pre-loads and the three limit. IMO
I have seen refs call tech later corrected to foul after discussion with HR
Controlling 6 PC is a FOUL. It can also earn a YELLOW CARD if egregious. The blue box under G6 give two egregious examples, and says there can be others.
Just speculating here, but I suppose it might be egregious if a robot controlling 6 PC were to score them all. Might be a good question to ask during drivers meeting, especially if your robot shoots rapid-fire by gravity feed.
