Regular wheels and low barriers

Here in Quebec the Robot in 100 hours team has done some interesting tests using regular wheels and the kit bot frame going over barriers, including the Cheval de Frise. TL;DR (TL;DW?) you don’t have to have tracks or pneumatic wheels to cross those barriers.

No doubt, this is by far some of the best help we’ve received from the early videos so far. With so much so unknown until a lot of time is invested, this will help give a lot of teams some confidence in their path forward. Thank you so much!

I will say that it’s tough to see if it’s a fair comparison to the normal 6" drive train since your 6x6" tests have nearly no extra weight for the extra traction. Yet even with that minor discrepancy it’s amazing to see just how capable the default drive train is.

Thank you so much
