Repeating as regional champs

Besides Team 45 and our team(1126) how many teams have repeated at a regional.

If I’m not mistaken, Team HOT (67) won GLR in 2002 and 2003

254 has won the Silicon Valley Regional 99-03

Team 175 has won the Mid-Atlantic regional a few times. 60 has won some regional three years running. 254 has won the same regional a few times. 330 has only one a regional a few times? There are a few teams out there. 16? 69?

A few times?

254 has never lost the Silicon Valley Regional…

1999 marked the intro of Team 254, and of the NASA Ames (Silicon Valley) Regional. They won that year, and the next… and the next… and… and…

So… next weekend.
Again?

John

Team Hammond 71 has won the Midwest regional in 97, 99, 2001, and 2002.

You’re right with that one DJ!

330 has won 3 regionals:

2004 Arizona
2002 Southern California
2001 Southern Calfornia

I think the teams who have won the same regional consectutively < - -[sp] should get some recognition in doing so well.

522 NYC FIRST! Regional Champs in 2003 and 2004

I’m curious as to how many teams have won the same regional in consecutive yrs.

by the looks of it theres almost a dozen out of the 900 somewhat teams. (excluding the 2004 rookies since its only their 1st year on bd)

Team 25 won NJ in 2000, and then again last year in 2003

I believe team 34, Rocket City Robotics won the Lone Star Regional in 2002 and 2003. I know they came close this year at the Peachtree Regional, which they won last year and finished 2nd this year.

Not to mention nationals in 2001 and 2002.

I think they are the only team to win nationals 2 years in a row. I might be wrong though.

343 KSC 2001 and 2002
33 Western Michigan 2001, 2002
111 Midwest 2000, 2001
312 KSC 2000, 2001
549 NYC 2001, 2002
353 LI 2000, 2001

Here’s the wierdest one
254 San Jose 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003
60 San Jose 2000, 2001, 2002
359 San Jose 2001, 2002

They are the only team to win nats two years in a row. They are the only team to win twice, and they have actually won three times.

Team 388 won the NASA / VCU regional in 2003 and 2004
