After finishing a very good initial planning meeting with school officials today, we were able to get a commitment for a new team in 2004 for Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. However, a lot of the questions they have had were in regards to initial team organization and pre-season training. Any information that anyone has would be great! What greatly helped our team was weekly meetings at school if at all possible, in which everyone could get together and talk about what was going on (ie: fundraising or getting space to work in or whatever). Also, make up a list of things that need to get done BEFORE the season starts, but divide it up amongst reliable members.
A good suggestion is to get an e-mailing list (yahoogroups has a pretty decent one), so everyone can keep in touch other than at the meetings.
