With the conclusion of the 2022 FRC season, I’m looking to collect as much raw scouting data for events from the past season as possible. I have a few different data analysis projects in mind, and I’m interested in seeing the various ways different teams scout.
Specific things I’m interested in:
- Which data formats are commonly used
- What is typical data collected
- How different data collected is formatted (bool, string, int, and float, etc)
- Whether there are common ways data is labelled
I understand some of the desire for secrecy of data during the season, but I’m hoping now that the season is over more teams would be willing to let some of the data out into the wild.
With this in mind, I’ve created a form where you can submit your data and the event at which it was collected.

I’d recommend removing and personally identifying information (names, team number) or notes from the data before uploading.
