Resources for Robotics

Hi I am Aaravi. The new outreach head of team 3019. As the team had entered the offseason we were looking for resources for different departments for robotics like media, outreach, build, programming, cad, sponsorship and a lot more things but we weren’t able to find any great resources that would help us for next year. So please feel free to share any google folders, links or website that would help us a lot.

Citrus Circuits, 1678, has some very amazing training resources for pretty much all of the things that you mentioned, it has helped our team integrate new members and definitely influenced our design this season :call_me_hand:.

When our team was starting up and needed a good knowledge repository to start out with i made one called the Lynk Library of Knowledge or LLK for short. Containing resources for everything FRC. From Build, Design, Programming, to Buisness. It has it all.

Our team has a similar repository for knowledge, started last season, always a WIP.

Started after looking at the FTC GM0 website
Game Manual 0 . While the WPILib website covered many of the control system and programming topics for FRC, many other areas are not well documented. So we started to document stuff for ourselves and others. The system is open source and anyone can add new content to the system using git commits.

Content is all in markdown so if you are able to write tutorials here on CD you could be an author on the website!

Many areas are still skimpy and need additional work, pictures and updates. The pnuematics section is one of the more complete areas of FRCZero. Also the home page serves as a list of links to other community resources and important updates for the season.

Finally my favorite part is the search tool. It will find anything on the site by keyword even if it’s only in one single page. When you can’t figure out where the information is buried that search is the best! This feature seems to be broken at the moment, I’ll fix this because it was very handy before

Hello Aaravi! If your team uses Java, I have a compendium I have been doing my best to maintain with new resources as they are made available/come to my attention.
