Restoring Fusion360 Educational Account Status

While we switched to Onshape for main CAD, I sustained my F360 edu account because we have an archive there from past years + I believe this year we may utilize the CAM features.

I just logged in, and the edu account status had expired, so I’d like to restore it. I tried to follow the instructions in the UX, and it just took me in circles…

NEVER MIND, I guess: Though the UX never gave any indication or confirmation, apparently one of the actions I took while going in those circles resulted in the edu status being renewed. I shut down F360, restarted it, and lo & behold I was an edu user again. I guess the solution is just to log into the autodesk website, go to this product page for edu users & click F360 ACCESS, and then it’ll download the install (which you don’t need if you already have F360)… But somewhere in there, the wheels turn and you get your edu status back, though the UX doesn’t say so. Originally this was a Help Wanted thread, but now I guess I’ll just leave this here in case it might help others.
