I just recieved some answers from FIRST correcting some mistakes on the playing field blueprints.
- Center Barrier, P16, upright supports, should be 1-1/4" Schedule 40 Aluminum, quantity should be 6 and length should be 16".
- Bridge counter wieght support pipe assembly. The 1" pipe is inserted flush in the 1-1/4" pipe and the 3/4" pipe is inserted about 3" in the 1" pipe. Note: use 6, 3# weights on each support.
- The quantity for PVC1, goal, horizontal supports should be 16.

Another problem caused by the revised blue print. A dimension of 3’-0 1/2" was added for the goal base, view C-C. The bill of material still has this dimension at 34-1/4". Last time I checked, 3 ft = 36". Which dimension is correct?

Hmm. Can’t answer your question, but I share your frustration. My suggestion to teams is that you start strategizing, not builiding fields, because the blueprints are far from perfect as it is. I suppose that the outside border is pretty much settled (if you have questions, just download last year’s diagram which was properly dimensioned) so you could start on that.
Here is my newest list of field problems:
It appears from the blueprint that there should be 2 P10s. The BOM has 4.
It appears from the bluepring that there should be 4 R1s. The BOM has 5.
If somebody has time on wednesday, while I am in school, it would be good to call FIRST on these ones and Paul’s question. Please post an answer here.
