REV Control HUB

Does anyone one know the feature set for new REV Control HUB, which is NOT the same as Expansion Hub used in this FTC season.

There are considerable visual differences:

  • 4 USB ports
  • Micro SD Card Slot
  • HDMI Port

I am intrigued

I’d ask someone who participated in FIRST Global (this is what they used for that) or REV themselves (seriously, they’re cool people and are great about interacting with the community).

I think, if I remember correctly from some of the released FIRST Global documentation, that it is running Android and essentially is folding the phone into the expansion hub body, but do not quote me one that-- I’m sure one of the folks over at REV would be able to answer with much greater accuracy and confidence.

IIRC REV won the bid to supply the control system for FIRST Global this past year. My guess is this is the controller.

You’re correct! For those familiar with FTC, it’s like adding the phone into the Expansion Hub. It’s the same base peripheral board as in the Expansion Hub, with the addition of a Dragon Board 410C running custom Android and it was used as part of the controls system for FIRST Global last year.
