REV PDH Screen Always showing 12.0V

We have a REV PDH flashed to 22.0.3 version firmware. The problem is that it is always showing 12.0V on its screen. However, while using driverstation or connecting it with REV Hardware Client, the real voltage can be monitored in either software. We tried to clear everything on the PDH and reflash the firmware, but nothing happens. Anyone who had have the same problem?

Upgrade and Downgrade the firmware won’t help either. As we are going to have a 2022 offseason ( YES, it IS 2022, because we didn’t have a 2022 competition due to COVID in China), we have to use 2022 version firmware.

Not adding anything helpful here but yeah I’ve noticed the same thing. Just never has been a high enough priority problem for us to deal with it

That’s so weird, considering I would imagine it should be an OTS component measuring and displaying the voltage, and not subject to firmware bugs

I can’t find the post, but this is a known issue with the mid-late 2022 batch of PDHs. Does not effect usability of the part at all. I would rely on a multimeter if you need to check battery voltage, or look at the driver station if you want to see voltage while the battery is in the robot.

Contact Rev.
Get your PDH added to their list. Once Rev. develops a solution, they will let you know what process to follow. Most likely it will be a hardware switch out, or a full replacement, but they have not announced a solution yet as far as I know.

Yeah we have a couple of PDHs with that same issue. Here’s what I have used for several years with PDPs, and we just added to this year’s robot.

Tons of sellers out there. Similar to this one:

Hopefully REV will find a solution and make good on this.

Maybe free FOC for the Neos?

While any competition can make their own rule, the game manual doesn’t require any specific version of PDH firmware.
