@chauser and @quinn.jar3655, we have released SPARK MAX firmware version 25.0.1 that should fix the issue. Updating tips from the release notes:
If you have any SPARK MAXs on your bus that are running firmware version 25.0.0, turn the robot power off and update those SPARK MAXs to version 25.0.1 individually. Once all devices on the bus are running either version 25.0.1 or version 24.0.1 or earlier, you can turn the robot back on and update the remaining devices in bulk.
Hey everyone, I’m having some trouble updating the Spark MAXs using the REV Hardware Client and was hoping for some advice.
Every time I try to update the Spark MAX firmware, I get the error “Failed to update.” I’ve reset the REV hardware, unplugged and replugged the USB-C, but nothing seems to work. Now the Spark MAXs aren’t showing up at all in the REV Hardware Client.
I’ve tried putting the device into recovery mode, but during the update process, it disappears right before the update finishes. If I unplug and replug it after this, it doesn’t show up as it normally would.
The Spark MAX isn’t wired to anything else right now. Any ideas on what might be going wrong or how to fix this? Appreciate any help!
We have just released our 2025 REV ION Starterbot. I made a new thread for it so we can separate the information about REV products and releases from the specific robot.
Is there a stock page for the Canadian site with estimates on when items will arrive? Or even just if they will be stocked on the Canadian site?
Alternatively, can we expect that if there is a product listing on the Canadian site, that there is going to be a shipment of those items arriving to the Canadian warehouse eventually and going into stock?
I also can’t seem to setup “In Stock” notifications on the Canadian site for items like I can on the US site. Is our best bet for seeing when items are in stock to check the page daily?
We have shipments heading to Canada with all the new stuff and replenishment, but yes a stock page specifically for Canada is the right solution and something we can work on.
For the instock-notifier email box, can you point me to the product you don’t see that as an option on? It might be that you need to enable javascript on that domain.
I’ve tried on different browsers and devices. I’m not seeing it load the in stock notifiers on any out of stock products across the Canadian website currently.
Is this just an issue on my end or are others experiencing the same thing on the Canadian website?
As requested, here are the items I’m interesting in being notified about:
I tried yet another permutation of device+browser and it worked. Browser that didn’t work on desktop worked fine on mobile, but other mobile browser didn’t. Weird. I’ll have to look into what’s going wrong for me there.
The email notification field doesn’t appear unless you’ve accepted cookies for the site (it usually prompts you at the bottom of the page unless you already declined/ignored it). It’s possible the prompt may also display weirdly depending on what browser your using (especially if it’s mobile).
I had the same issue a while back and it was extremely confusing, especially since I generally ignore all cookie prompts unless they’re mandatory.
Is the contents for MAXPlanetary Hardware Pack (REV-25-2107) listed anywhere? I wanna specifically know the length of the mounting bolts for the front face. Searching up the SKU did not return anything on the website.
Hello, super excited to try out the new elevator bearing blocks this year! We are looking to order both types and are wondering if theres any idea when the MAXLift Face Mount Bearing Blocks will be back in stock?
They are back in stock now, we just needed to move them in our internal system from QC to pickable (sorry about the panic, we have plenty of them).
We have been working around the clock in the months leading up to FRC season to ensure that we keep as many things in stock as possible. We know how important it is for teams to get the things they need when build season is going. FRC is hard enough without having to also compete for robot building materials.
At this time, REV is in stock on almost everything and I couldn’t be more proud of our team for making it happen.
Any idea when REV-21-2636 Clamping Elevator Bearing Blocks are being restocked? Sorry for asking at this time when probably many people are stressing for stock updates and I applaud REV for focusing more on stock and QC, just would be amazing to get an estimate
These should be back in stock around the end of next week, they are in transit to us now. Things got messed up with the snow, but I think we will be back on track now.
Sort of an odd question- did the anodization process of MaxTube change between the batches with scribe lines and without? We were trying to dye some tube with fabric dye and had success with older batches but newer batches both have a different texture and didn’t dye as well.
