Ri3D Cranberry Alarm Monday Recap is at 9pm eastern with giveaways from The Thrifty Bot and AndyMark at https://youtube.com/firstupdatesnow Ask questions and check out the awesome progress. We’ll be doing full cycles tonight! Sneak peak:
https://youtu.be/aApYUn27NEI Reis demonstrates how the Ri3D Cranberry Alarm team is considering scoring Amp cycles with their intake and their shooter including different positions and with a Note impeding the Crescendo robot.
It looks like 9mm x 70 tooth and 130 for the belts on the intake?
https://youtu.be/suJ7skaES_4 Cory overviews testing Cranberry Alarm’s Ri3D of scoring Notes from different positions on the Subwoofer. With a low robot there are a few effective options and some that may not work for teams.
Ri3D Monday Recap is about to start! We’re going to have a ton of live demos tonight including amp and subwoofer scoring and floor intake. Also giveaways from The Thrifty Bot pair of 45A Solid Black Urethane Wheels (same ones on the shooter) and a $25 Gift Card to AndyMark ! https://youtube.com/firstupdatesnow/live
https://youtu.be/Kh4731DfGNc Ri3D Cranberry Alarm showcases their progress on Monday of Robot in 3 Days with a reveal taking place Tuesday! Check out their awesome progress on their floor intake, scoring demonstrations on the speaker and amp and also their next steps for their climber!
I dont know if it’s been tested prior-
When attempting the amp using intake:
Flip the intake a little bit to provide a “throw” while running the wheels to launch?
I only saw a fixed position on intake, and wheels at different speeds.
Just want to give a big thank you. FUN’s YT in the last 48 hours has over 200,000 views on content and Ri3D is by far the largest chunk of that.
Thanks to Cranberry Alarm for being awesome partners. They sincerely have been in alignment in goals since the beginning and to everyone who has tuned in so far to the stream or videos!
Woo! Thanks Tyler, and everyone who’s tuned into a stream or checked out any of our YouTube videos!
Our partnership with FUN has been nothing short of awesome! The expanded reach this year is amazing; the more teams we can help and kids we can inspire the better, and we know for a fact you’re helping us with that, so for that, we are sincerely grateful!
Cranberry Alarm has been the gold standard for Ri3D, keep up the good work.
2.5 hours left as we go live for Ri3D Cranberry Alarm! Robot Reveal and Demonstration show at Noon Eastern https://youtube.com/firstupdatesnow/live
Thank y’all for all the content you’ve shared over the past three days! It’s been illuminating to see how the notes interact with the field elements and various robot components before we’ve even had a chance to finish our own field elements!

the handoff mechanism is awesome.
Love that you could have your shooter completely spun up too
https://youtu.be/xP1urgzdt24 Reis and Cory from Ri3D Cranberry Alarm test and demo their 2 stage TTB climbers on their Crescendo Robot. You’ll get to see the climber from a few positions on the chain, how the controls work and a demo of the robot in action from both sides of the robot!
Ri3D Cranberry Alarm build is complete! Join us for the Robot demonstration with Q&A at https://youtube.com/firstupdatesnow/live We have another set of 45A TTB wheels and an AndyMark T-shirt to giveaway on air!
Also: We are 33 subs away from 20,000 on FUNs YT! If we hit 20k we will do another giveaway on stream!
If you can’t make the noon show we’ll have it up on https://youtube.com/firstupdatesnow in a couple hours!
That’s a wrap with Cranberry Alarm Ri3D!
If you didn’t get to watch the Robot Scoring Demonstrations and Breakdown video you can find it at https://youtu.be/Xy6v-fVt3wM
We’ll make a produced ‘Reveal’ type video to come out probably Thursday too but the video above is really going to provide a much more in-depth and educational overview of the robot vs. a reveal video.
Thank you to Cranberry Alarm for all they have done to help inspire and educate the FRC community. This small group of individuals absolutely worked their butts off but this was a very chill and non-stress experience for all!
Great work to the Cranberry Alarm crew, FUN, and the vendor sponsors. This was, in my opinion, the most comprehensive Ri3D team this year! Your videos and testing have been very helpful for those of us who have only had one meeting so far Especially all the Note dynamics videos.
Really fantastic job by everyone. Thanks for documenting everything extremely well. Go get some sleep now
@Dracco First, loved the build and the ideas behind the robot. I was wondering if you were planning on releasing the code that you used?
