Hello all!

'Snow Problem has completed our 2018 Robot in 3 Days, Metis.

Named after the Greek Titan of good advice, Metis features an active intake and shooter mechanism to score effectively in the EXCHANGE, SWITCH, and SCALE.

That’s a smart combination of a ‘scale/switch shooter’ and intake/vault. Congrats!

I can’t even. I am glad it exists but I am glad it is not my teams robot. The shooter is either too novel.

This robot is pretty neat - I am very happy someone made it, I was curious to see how effective a robot like this could be! :stuck_out_tongue: I was kinda joking around with the idea of a wheeled shooter early after Kickoff, but y’all have certainly pulled it off pretty well - especially given your time constraints.

Thanks for sharing all this documentation as well, I am sure many teams appreciate the work that Ri3D teams do but just don’t get the chance to always say it! The insight teams can get by seeing the mechanisms tested helps a lot of teams grasp the bigger picture of possible effective robot designs faster. Awesome work!
