We have 2 Robo Redux Helium Canandcoders on our robot. We have id them as 1 and 2. When we press the zero button on the encoder the position stays the same. Anything we are doing wrong, we have tried it both with lock on and off

We did get one to update. It had a squishy button the other one we can’t reset has a clickier button.

The light flashes for reset on the one that works and not on the one that wont

Hey there! Just a couple of questions for you.

  1. When attempting to update the one that fails, does the LED turn teal at the start of the update process?

  2. Does the LED change color at all when the button is held, or does it remain the same color?

No color change when the button is pushed on the one that wont update

Its possible something about the button is not being recognized, to save troubleshooting time we can expedite you a new encoder unit and send you a return label so we can do some troubleshooting on our end. Could you send me an email with your order number? I can get that processed ASAP.
