I am super inspired by your 2022 shooter and I was looking it over to figure out how the design works and I could not figure out what this Neo 550 on the hood is for:

The Neo 550 originally ran the hood shooter wheel from reveal video through state championships. We found that we needed more speed from this wheel to remove the enough backspin to get our shot accuracy to where we wanted it to be, as well as needed more torque to recover after the shot. So 3 days before championships we switched to a Falcon 500 with a 1:1.5 upduction which allowed our control loops to be optimized to greatly reduce bounce outs.
