FRC Team 399 Eagle Robotics is hosting RoboProm for FIRST World Championships! Roboprom was created over 10 years ago to give back to the FIRST community and celebrate all your team’s hard work. Tickets for this event are available NOW on our website for $30. Tickets will also be available at Champs for $35. We would love to have your team attend our event this year. Not only is this event well known as a great experience for hundreds of FIRST teams, but we also crown Roboprom royals and give away 2 scholarships! If I remember correctly, 399 has been providing a prom, to those who robot, since 2007.

Technically 16 years?

(Or more literally, before many of this year’s attendants were born… I swear, I’m not that old).

how are the scholarship recipients selected?

Applicants are evaluated by their submitted essays for their impact to their teams, communities, and FIRST’s impact on themselves.

Submissions are evaluated by a committee of our student leadership, mentors, and teachers.

How does a student submit an essay for consideration? Are you still accepting submissions? (I looked on the website and didn’t see mention but I might have missed it.)

Unfortunately, no. The submission deadline was 14 Apr. We’ll hope you’ll join us otherwise!

I remember when I went with some friends in 2019 and it was one of the highlights of my final year as a student - can definitely recommend! Quite literally a once-in-a-lifetime event

When and where will the tickets/wristbands be passed out this year? I’m picking up for several students. Also, if they didn’t include me as their pickup person during purchase, can I show you a Slack message where they said they want me to pick up for them?

Ticket pickup will be Wed and Thurs in the foyer of the GRB.

If someone else is picking up tickets, have the original ticketholder(s) email us at [email protected] with the name of the person picking up.

Presale tickets have sold out!

We will have a limited supply of tickets at the venue. Sales and pickup open at 10AM on 19 Apr in the foyer. Don’t wait!

Per event rules, we will not be selling tickets out of our pit.

Please visit us in the foyer of the GRB Convention Center Wed 4/19 at 10 am to be sure you get the remaining tickets you need. Tickets are $35. We will continue to sell until our venue is at capacity. Looking forward to a great night at RoboProm!
