roboRIO 2.0 CAN connector

Would anyone happen to know the product number used on the roboRIO 2.0 as the CAN connector? Ours broke last season, and NI’s solution was to send us an RMA unit and recommend e-recycling the broken one. While that is a very generous policy, I feel bad sending such an otherwise useful component to the dump when I could fix it easily with the right replacement part.

AndyMark sells a Phoenix connector version that will work!

Both of these are the POWER connector, they’re asking for the CAN connector.

It’s like a 2-pin version of these.

Correct, images now have red circles for greater clarity (and to better mimic stereotypical YouTube thumbnails)

Apologies, noticed that right before you posted.

A part like this is what the OP is looking for, 1825640000 Weidmüller | Connectors, Interconnects | DigiKey , again don’t know the 100% correct one without measuring the rio itself. Also if you do fix this rio, I wouldn’t recommend using it a comp just in case the soldering damages anything.

Looks like all of the dimensions in the datasheet match that connector. I’ve purchased some and will provide an update on the repair if I remember to.

Seeing as the CAN connector is quite far away from the nearest components, I doubt there is much risk of damage as long as I’m careful. Nonetheless, I’m intending for this extra RIO to be a prototyping unit.
