I’m not sure I understand… For the RoboRIO 2.0, the SD Card is required to boot the system. It works kind of like a Raspberry Pi in that regard. There is a little folder icon on right side of the flashing tool window that will open the folder with the SD Card images and you can use Balena Etcher to write the file to the SD Card.
For the RoboRIO 1.0 - there is no SD Card as it uses internal flash memory.
