roboRio disconnected during imaging, broken?

We decided to reimage our roborio because we’ve been getting errors when deploying code. We started a reimage and apparently someone didn’t get the memo because they cut the power. Now the computer cannot find the roborio. It won’t ping, no robot communication on the driver’s station, can’t get to the firmware website, doesn’t show up when we plug it into the usb port.

We’ve tried restarting everything. I do not have another computer with labview on it to try reimaging with.

What is my next step?

Thank you.

This happened to us. Try doing it over an Ethernet cable.

Thank you for the quick reply. We started off with an ethernet cable, no luck there. We also tried the printer usb. It installs the driver, but doesn’t connect to the roborio.

What is the status light doing? I’ve had it be solid (i.e. unrecoverable), and I fixed it by imaging it in safe mode.

Make sure your radio is unplugged from your roborio when flashing.

Ok, I tried safe mode again and that seems to have worked. At least it is imaging now. Thank you for your help!
