There appear to be (3) items missing from the toolbox on the left: all three are generic speed controller groups (green icons on the instruction page under the Controllers heading).
I just reinstalled this weekend with out any issues. There shouldn’t be any extra steps. The default objects are hardcoded into the application. If your looking for third party extensions you may need to reinstall their tools like Phenoix Tunner.
I have some Enhanced variants you could add to your tool box along with REV controllers Here:
I just clicked on your link and saw what you meant. I Believe what you’re seeing is the missing Motor Controler Groups. This was Depreciated two years ago I believe and is now no longer supported. Its been so long since I have used PWM motors I’m not sure how this is done now. With CAN motors you use the Followermotor.Follower(LeaderMotor) methods.
Here is a link how the code works. GitHub - firstmncsa/Robotbuilder-Extensions: A collections of custom Extensions to add to Robotbuilder
I will see if RobotBuilder supports this too. If not we can get a issue posted to get this resolved for 2025
RobotBuilder is a great tool It still sees updates but its possible the documents could use a refresh.
Yep Just Add the first two motors to the Differential Drive and add two additional motors to the Drive train sub-system.
Then select the Follow properties of these additional motors to follow the motors in the Differential Drive
