We were trying to use the WPI characterization tool for our auto code.
We got stuck when we ran our first test, in which only one side of the side of the chasis worked.
It seemed all the encoders and motors were in the correct ports.

Can you share your config and details of your robot’s drivetrain? Most likely your configuration is not right.
You can open the generated project and look it over to see if you spot the problem. The first time I used the tool I found this helpful to understand what was really happening.

Our drivetrain consists of two CTR mag encoders on both sides and TalonSRX to run it.
