Robot Keeping activation switch level

Is it allowed to have a robot to be holding the bar so it’s level and touching the ground, not counting as hanging point
but making the bar level for robots hanging to score extra points?

A GENERATOR SWITCH is considered LEVEL if, five (5) seconds after the ARENA timer displays zero (0) following TELEOP, both following criteria are met:
A. it is in the LEVEL range, and
B. all ALLIANCE ROBOTS contacting the GENERATOR SWITCH are HANGING.

Making the switch level by grasping it on the ground will not count it as level. However, it may make it easier for your alliance members to climb. I haven’t seen a rule which would prevent their climbs from counting in this scenario, so if both of your alliance member’s bots need a level bar to climb reliably, this may be a good strategy. However, I think most climbing bots will be able to climb at an angle, so I wouldn’t pursue this strategy.
