Robot Rage

We are very excited to let you know that Robot Rage is here!

For all you FLL teams out there: your team’s robot season is not over!
Come join us for a fun day of robot competition.
We will be taking a maximum of 50 teams.

The Thunderblades FLL team and the Rachet Rockers FRC team, together with River City Robots, will be bringing you this exciting new event!

Our goal is to give teams the opportunity to compete with the robot that they have worked on so hard to complete. We promise a day of super fun
competition, awesome awards, and a great time to be had by all.

Individual awards will be given out to the top three teams.

Special awards will be voted on by representatives from each team.

At Robot Rage we will be using the FLL rules for our competition as well as this year’s playing field.

We also want to use this event to help promote and encourage more kids to get involved with robots and share information about Worlds.

It’s great to see another event made available for those kids to participate in another event. I’m always excited to see these FLL kids at the events and the ideas and the projects they have worked so hard on.

I know we cancelled one of our Iowa FLL regional events last December due to extreme weather conditions. I know I was disappointed about this as I was going to be at that particular regional that weekend, but also the kids were to but they handled it very graciously. Happily though we are having a makeup regional for them so that they can still show off what they have worked so hard on and have learned over the past few months.

I’m glad to see that there is another great event to get all of those small, young, future engineers excited about science and technology as well as all of the CORE values in FLL
