ROBOT SIZE IS NOT SMALLER

I just wanted to make sure that the robot dimensions have not changed. I didnt think that it would have and I wanted to make sure that no teams worry about having to make new crates or what not.

HAve a great season

See you at Nats ( those who apply)

lol

I don’t know if anyone’s noted this or not.

FIRST has changed the FAQ on their page regarding the dimensions and weight limit on the robots. It now reads:

Shipping the robot
Q. What is the size of the robot?
A. The allowable dimensions will be noted in the Manual at Kickoff and posted here then.

Q. What is the weight of the robot?
A. The allowable dimensions will be noted in the Manual at Kickoff and posted here then.

Q. What is the size of the shipping crate?
A. The allowable dimensions will be noted in the Manual at Kickoff and posted here then.

Yeah i think they must have just caught that from last year.

So much for thinking that we got a little extra information before kick off. That’s what happens when FIRST gets lazy and decides to re-use the same information. Oh well.
