hello, our robot often stutters when it drives, it likes stops or slows for a second and then continues we belive it has to do with battery voltage, but this happens also on a full charge, I attached the logs graph
Post your code if you can. Could be lots of things, but two of the most common things I’ve seen over the years with stuttering drive trains are 1) If you’re using command-based, commands running that don’t exclusively require the drive subsystem, so effectively, you end up controlling the drive with two different inputs 2) Using WPILib drive classes that implement motor safety, and because of loop overruns your motors get temporarily disabled.
It would also help to post more about your drivetrain, and photos of your mechanical and electrical setup, what you’re describing could be software or maybe even brownouts from mechanical or electrical issues.
at the end we found that there was a loose canbus cable and when replacing it there were no longer any issue
