As was asked in the Chezy Champs thread, is it known what will the condition of power cells be at the start of Roboteer Rumble?

We bought a new pack of 72 from AndyMark that will be used first. Additionally, we have ~40 in various levels of condition around the shop if we end up tearing through the game pieces faster than expected.

Great, thank you! See you on Saturday!

With 18 teams attending, will eliminations have 4 or 6 alliances?

Will be 6 alliances

Round robin or do some seeds get by’s?

Originally we planned for by’s, but after talking to a few interested teams and verifying this works with stock FMS today, we may go the RR route if the teams are interested. We’ll poll the team leads and see what folks prefer at the event. I do like that the average team gets more matches with the RR.

We had an absolute blast! The robot we were competing with was overhauled from our skills challenge bot in about 6 weeks, so we were really happy with how it went overall, thank you all for being such wonderful competitors

Thanks to all the teams for making the event so enjoyable – it was a pleasure to host you this weekend. Hope you all come back next year, we’d love to have you again.

Thanks to our volunteer crew, and especially @Nick_Lawrence for his mad FTA skills. There was luckily very little that didn’t go according to plan from the Thursday pit gym setup to when we all left the building before 8PM on Saturday. Everyone crushed it and was incredibly efficient and effective–couldn’t have a better group of volunteers.

Congratulations as well to our winners (2338 / 2451 / 2040) and finalists (1756 / 4143 / 5847), and all the other teams as well for putting on a great show with some very competitive matches. Match video will be posted through FIRST Updates Now at some time in the future.
