Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. One question though, why did you pick the weekend of championships? For that reason alone, I know of a lot of people that won’t be able to go.
Well, it’s nice for those of us who are unable to attend the Championship this year. 
Well if your going to hold it during nationals, maybe it should be hosted near St. Louis instead. This way, if you’re heading over there to support your old team, you can stop by the social to meet other FIRST alumni and meet up with old friends.
Or we could be sane about this and let then organize a social in Mass for people who’ll be up there, and someone else could organize one for people who’ll be in St Louis.
And for the record, nominating me to organize it is a brilliant way to get an alumni social at the 2015 championships. Maybe.
