RobotPy 2025.1.1 available

Core WPILib stuff is all updated and available. rev and phoenix6 vendor libraries are available, others will be forthcoming as vendors make their releases.

Special thanks to @auscompgeek for extra help this week, and to anyone else that has helped this preseason. Try it out and let us know how it goes!

As always, if you have a generic RobotPy/Python question that isn’t specific to this release notice, please open a new thread as it will be more visible.

Thank you very much! The only thing we really need that’s not there right now is the navx package; should we load what’s available now alongside or wait for an update on that? Thanks again!

I pushed a 2025 version of robotpy-navx earlier this afternoon, so you should be able to install it now. You may need to update to robotpy 2025.1.1.1 to have it install during sync.

Got it, thanks again!

My teams having an issue where attempting to run robotpy freezes for a few seconds before returning nothing. Is there a way I can completely uninstall + reinstall robotpy to see if that fixes it?

What commands are you executing that aren’t doing anything? Sounds similar to the issue reported at Robotpy commands are hanging upon update?
