Robots in the Outback - Back again!

In 2015, we visited two small towns in outback New South Wales.

Last year we visited 12 communities in three states. We impacted hundreds of children. We changed communities forever.

This year, Robots in the Outback (RITO) is back and better than ever! For more information on the program, please read last year’s Chief Delphi thread. For the 2017 FRC season, we will be starting even more teams than ever before in more states across the country.

But in order to do this, we need your help! We are currently recruiting mentors to come to Australia for ~2 weeks of build season (starting around January 26th, Australia Day) to travel to each new RITO team and help them get off the ground.

If you love FIRST and want to make a huge difference in underserved students lives, and travel around Australia (and see lots of wildlife… just check out the Facebook page for the proof!) this is the place to be.

You can go to www.thethunderdownunder.org/rito17to apply today.
