Robozone tv show , who watches?

Being from Michigan I cant wait every week for the Robozone show on Sunday morning( on FOX Sports Net). I was just curious if Teams from outside of Michigan are watching to see whats happening here. I know I watch FRCGameSense to see trends and learn about teams we might see at Worlds. Are their any other resources you use ?

I watch them when they get posted online. I really enjoy them. It gives me a look at the the Michigan events without having to watch all of the streams.

My team use to watch them but due to some of the things they’ve said about our team and the fact they can’take even spell teams names rights (Berrian instead of Berrien, Deamons instead of Demons), my team frowns about the information they give.
I watched the coverage for the St Joe event but that is it.

Baby steps. It might not be perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction to culture change.

I don’t watch TV at all (last two things I’ve watched were the Michigan v. Flordia Citrus Bowl and the first GOP Primary debate for about 30 minutes back when there was like 15 candidates), but I make sure to watch the videos on youtube when I get a second around work.

I wish they had more time so they could talk about game strategy and build season schedule and stuff that helps viewers get into the “locker room” of the teams, if you will.

I watch the online version when I can.

For me it isn’t that interesting of a show for several reasons. But the biggest one is that the show seems to target those that are mostly unaware of FRC outside of the show. This isn’t a bad thing it just means I don’t find the show interesting. (Please understand I like the show but it isn’t really for me)

Don’t forget about FUN!

I need to sit down and watch some of the other recap shows to see how they all compare. But lately my only real TV viewing has been event webcasts on Saturdays.

Hey I know F4 is new and all but lets try to spread the word

At this point we have had 4 episodes approaching the 5th this weekend and we have so far had 12 unique co-hosts. This week is going to be about Team communication between officers, mentors, and members. I encourage everyone to watch!

And if you are a student apply to be on. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1H5CjWfTCi7V1qlrUiXOJtScM_wTosx3Mt1p7J5GS9jk/viewform

I agree that it is still in progress, it does seem nice to see all this coverage but I don’t see myself watching it unless its just covering the competition I was at, even then I sometimes don’t like to. I just think they should be able to catch silly mistakes like misspelling names. It only takes a second to look it up on TBA.

The people doing the graphics and everything likely don’t know what TBA is since Robozone is a segment of a high school sports called State Champs and this is probably their only exposure to FRC.

I watch on YouTube since I don’t have cable and so I can skip the Fanuc and Lawrence Tech commercials. It’s nice to see the highlights so I know who the contenders will be at MSC and who to watch - for example I probably wouldn’t be following the Average Joes (3620) this year without watching Robozone first - yes they’re usually a pretty good team, but they’re West siders who we rarely play with, but Robozone highlighted how good they are this year and now I know to look out for them.

I agree it’d be nice if they caught spelling mistakes, and they’ve made me wonder if I’m saying the word ‘Paladins’ correctly every time they mention 3618. But things like that don’t make me not watch the show.

I’d really like this sort of show in other regions. Concisely edited highlight footage that shows brackets and where the teams are from would help me keep up to date on more regions without having to watch the terrible quality webcasts and hunt for match video.

Huge thanks to Jim, Dan, and everyone else who helps behind the scenes for putting the time into this.

I agree. I think a Highlight show is a perfect coverage levels for Districts. I would like to see full matches though for MSC coverage of elims.
