Team 340 has arranged to offer a welding class at Mahany Welding Supply (http://www.mahanyweld.com/home.asp ) on Saturday November 5th from 9AM to 3~4PM. The course is open to any students on a FIRST team in the greater Rochester area. The course will cover welding safety, setup, and technique. You will have the opportunity to learn MIG & TIG welding. All materials and lunch will be provided. Due to the size of the welding laboratory we are limiting this opportunity to only 2-3 students & an adult mentor per team with a maximum capacity of ~30 students. Please share this opportunity with your team. I do ask that you RSPV (jrees@cccsd.org) with the number of people attending by October 26th. Space is limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
what you are doing is great for the kids rees. the get to do something that they would not normally do. it also allows the robot to be built by the students more than it normally would. you run a good program at churchville. ill probably see you there.

So far we have 3 teams signed up & some kid from Clarkson. That makes 8 students, 3 mentors, & 1 Alex. We still have more room. I will be contacting teams again early next week to make sure they got the invite.
