Rookie Team Motivational Video

Our team has been struggling a lot recently. We made this video in hopes that other rookie teams can get inspiration and potentially relate to our struggles.

Your not losing as long as your learning.

As someone who was once in your shoes as a struggling rookie – keep going, y’all got this.

There will be times when your robot refuses to move.
There will be times when your team refuses to move.
But eventually, if you keep refining, keep iterating, and above all keep learning, there will be success.

Feel free to message me if you need any help or advice with technical or non-technical stuff, or even just want to get something off your chest, I’m always happy to help.

As a member of a rookie team from last year (7431), I would like to say congratulations on making it this far and I hope you have a great first year!

Proud of the work that you have accomplished, remember to celebrate the high five moments! It has been an awesome experience mentoring your team this year!

AMAZING! I feel extremely inspired by your determination and your strength! Team 612 gives you our support!
Has any experienced team contacted you about working with you guys? Some of the bigger teams, including ours, have large outreach subteams that mentor the smaller teams, so take advantage of that :). For example, we try to find other teams in the DC area and try to establish contact with them, and we currently have a strong bond and partnership with 1895 (although I’m not in charge of that lol).
Look at some of the OG teams in your neck of the woods via The Blue Alliance and try to contact them if no one has contacted you. I love how you guys are utilizing Chief Delphi-that’s also amazing.
Good luck to you all! I am genuinely hopeful that this method of preventing kids from doing drugs (sorry just had to) will survive for future generations.
