Hi,
I am working with a local rookie FRC team that needs to acquire a few workstations to get started with CAD. Does anyone have suggestions on the best method for acquiring new machines via grant or education program?

We’ve gotten our CAD workstations almost exclusively from the school-- our school has a set of Windows machines for flight simulators which we have set up on a network for CAD and six fairly recent MacBooks that run Creo just fine in Boot Camp, each of which is assigned to a specific subteam.
I don’t really have any advice on grants, but if the team is attached to a school it might be worth it to see if the school has any computers that can run your CAD program of choice effectively.
