Rule R13

Yesterday we purchased the AndyMark KOP Chasis Pneumatic Wheel Upgrade
It cost USD 549

Would this violate Rule R13, and if so is there a way around it

(No individual, non-KOP item shall have a value that exceeds $500 USD. The total cost of COMPONENTS purchased in bulk may exceed $500 USD as long as the cost of an individual COMPONENT does not exceed $500 USD.)

Andymark doesn’t really specify what comes in this kit, but my guess is that it uses the
pneumatic wheels that they sell separately at: https://www.andymark.com/products/8-in-pneumatic-wheel?via=Z2lkOi8vYW5keW1hcmsvV29ya2FyZWE6OkNhdGFsb2c6OkNhdGVnb3J5LzVhZjhlMjZiYmM2ZjZkNWUzNmYyMzk1Nw

If this is the case, it’s completely legal as the items can be bought separately.

Also I would imagine that Andymark would not sell anything specifically for FRC usage that is illegal according to the manual.

We are also concerned about this. Especially: “In summary, if a VENDOR sells a system or a kit, a team must use the entire system/kit Fair Market Value and not the value of its COMPONENT pieces.”

Example 3 says the wheels can be accounted for individually/separately.
