Question here,
When docking and engaging with the charge station during autonomous, do you have to be level until the auto period ends or until the level lights turn on to secure/get points?
I.E. Do you have to level and hold to get points or can you level for a second and then drive off and still get points?
From 6.4 in the manual:
assessment of CHARGE STATION scoring occurs 3 seconds after the ARENA timer displays 0 following AUTO
Does that mean then you have to be on the charge station for the duration of auto for it to register? Or just that you have to be on the charge station and level within the last 3 seconds of auto.
Basically what I’m saying is that if your not on the charge station and level within the last 3 seconds, it will not register to the field. (aka: docked and leveled by the end = counted, not d or l = not counted)
Robots do their thing in autonomous for 15 seconds, and then stop. 3 seconds after robots stop, referees and scorekeepers look to see what they did, including checking which robots are docked or engaged on the charging station.
What robots do during those 15 seconds doesn’t matter, only the end state after that time expires.
