In looking over the game manual I can’t find where it says what motors can use a 20 amp slot on the pdp. If there is no such rule what are the best practices?
Any motor can run on the 20/30 Amp slots. I would always use 30 Amp breakers where allowed.
R52 (up to 40A)
Not entirely true. Any motor can use the 40A slots, but a large subset of those can use the 20/30A slots as well
Edit: NVM, I’m an idiot…
Did I miss a rule saying that I can’t put my falcon 500s on 20 amp breakers? It looked legal to me.
What motors are not allowed on 20 Amp breakers?
edited… ignore me, I was thinking of something else.
You can supply any motor from any PDB slot. BUT. If the motor exceeds the current rating of the breaker, it will trip it. So Running the larger motor from the 30 amp slots means that it on you not to put the motor in a situation where it exceeds the current rating of the breaker. (No rule against it, but the motor will stop)
