Ryerson Mars Rover Reveal

Hey everyone,
We at Ryerson Rams Robotics(R3) wanted to share with you our critical design review for the University Rover Challenge, our team is mostly comprised of former FRC students and we wanted to give you a glimpse into how you could continue your robotics experience.
The University Rover Challenge is an annual competition hosted by the Mars Society in Utah. The competition features universities from all around the world, and challenges teams to design and build a rover to compete in increasingly difficult tasks. Our rover features a unique double lambda suspension, 5 DOF arm and can compete in an hour long autonomous task.
You can check out our design review in the video below:

Thanks for your support and goodluck to all teams competing in the coming weeks.

That’s a pretty sweet rover, and I love how the design review is presented in video form.

I’m personally not part of a rover team, but my school’s team’s (CMR) build space is one room over from my submarine team’s space so I’ve seen elements of the design process going into these rovers and it’s awesome.

Good luck at competition!
