Safe to tig weld around NEO motors and electronics

Hi

Is it safe to Tig weld around electronics and the NEO motors. I am just worried about inducing power into the electronics.

If everything is well-insulated from what you’re welding (and far enough from the heat) it should be fine, but I’ve always avoided it where possible. The few times I haven’t avoided it, we didn’t have any problems.

I strongly advise against this if the machine uses a high-voltage arc start.
