I wear glasses, so generally most safety glasses I’ve used (even the over glasses ones) aren’t particularly comfortable or helpful (tend to try to fall off, keep getting in the way) Covid era masking rules make it even worse.
A better pair (I should get some prescription safety glasses) would probably get me in the shop more lol.
I’d love to help here, but I wear prescription safety glasses exclusively. No separate sideshields… You might want to include that as one of your options, or at least be aware that’s not being captured.
Maybe one more option… REAL prescription safety glasses. I’m of the opinion that side shields are mostly useless, but then I use mine professionally.
Here’s the pair of prescription safety glasses that were at arms reach… Prescription lenses, integral side shielding built into the unit, no separate parts.
FYI, prescription safety glasses CAN be cheap, as long as you -don’t- get all the fancy options like coatings, self-darkening, and progressive lenses. Under $100 should be easily do able.
For folks that wear prescription glasses, I can’t reccommend enough getting proper prescription safety glasses. You will be saying “Why the heck didn’t I do this before?!?!?!?” Far, far, far better than those goofy overglasses!
