Remember from the kickoff? They mentioned that if you had an opponents robot on yours in the 25 pt. zone the bottom robot gets 50pts. It was something along those lines.

hmm i dont remember that and it doesnt say anything like that in the manual , at least that ive seen, but thats simply 2 robots on the platform so i dont think you would get any extra points for doing that, but that may just be a way to fit ur alliance partners bot on the platform if your bot is attempting to take up lots of space on the platform

Yes you do get the points for this. I dont have the rulebook right in front of me right now, but i think Dave Lavery said that you can have two robots on top of each other and gain points as long as both are totally inside of the borders of the HDPE. If it wasnt Dav and anyone knows who it was, please correct me:D

What I said was (paraphrased after a little sleep) “if one robot is on top of another on the top of the ramp, the top robot takes on the attributes of the bottom one with respect to determination of the robot being “on” or “off” the upper ramp surface” This applies ONLY to determining if the robots are awarded “King Of The Hill” bonus points, and does not modify the identity of the team to which the points are awarded. In other words, if a red alliance robot is on top of a blue alliance robot, and the blue alliance robot is judged to be “on” the top of the ramp, then both robots will be judged as “on” the top of the ramp and both alliances will be awarded 25 points. If the blue alliance robot is judged to be “off” the top of the ramp, then both robots will be judged “off” the top, and neither alliance receives bonus points.
