Scoring in the processor with human player

The game manuel just says that human player drops the ball in from the processor. Cant you just make the robot a slide and have the human player keep dropping the ball onto the slide before it rolls into the processor for infinite points?

The human player is on the opposing alliance - they have zero reason to give you infinite points

But what if they keep missing

Aren’t points scored by scoring in your own processer zone, where your human player is?

your human player is at the opposing processor. The opposing alliance’s human player is at the processor on your alliance’s side.

yes you score at the processor on your alliance’s side

Where is this stated? The way I read 6.3.1 implies they are stationed at their own station

what rules says that?

Section 5.5:

A PROCESSOR is a goal into which an ALLIANCE scores ALGAE. There is 1 PROCESSOR per ALLIANCE. The PROCESSOR is integrated into the guardrail near the ALLIANCE’S REEF ZONE and adjacent to the opponent’s PROCESSOR AREA.

to all i can find in the rule book, you may have misunderstood the manual. you score on the opposing alliances side, where your processor is.

How does this state that human players are at the opposing alliance’s station?

It says the PROCESSOR is adjacent to the opponent’s PROCESSOR AREA

It is confusing, but it can be found in Section 5.5:

A PROCESSOR is a goal into which an ALLIANCE scores ALGAE. There is 1 PROCESSOR per ALLIANCE. The PROCESSOR is integrated into the guardrail near the ALLIANCE’S REEF ZONE and adjacent to the opponent’s PROCESSOR AREA.

(emphasis mine)

In the 2025 Field Tour Video: Processor video, at 0:16 it states that “The Processor is where robots score algae and give that algae to the other alliance’s human player.”

section 6.1

During the MATCH, ROBOTS collect CORAL and score on their REEF. ROBOTS also collect ALGAE and score in
their PROCESSOR or NET. HUMAN PLAYERS can score ALGAE in their NET once it has been passed to them
via their opponent’s PROCESSOR

Thank you, my entire team somehow misread that one

So it is really a cost-benefit analysis of granting the opponent alliance by 4 points and you getting 6 points because of putting the algae into the processor. Or we might shoot it directly to the net…

When scoring in the processor, do you score on the opposite side of the field or your own?

That assumes that the opponent alliance will successfully throw it. They could miss.

you score on your own.

In the video it shows you scoring into the opposite colored processor which is on your side? So do you never have to cross or am I reading that wrong
